Dogs are welcome on the Recreation Ground but should be under control and picked up after.

The area was originally Glebe Land and was farmed agriculturally until 1922 when it was sold to the Parish Council for £225 for use as a Public Recreation Ground. The first Pavilion was built in 1967 for a total cost of £2042.00 and was replaced by the current Sports Pavilion in more recent times.
