New Green Open Space is located between New Green Avenue and Sandpit Lane and is a beautiful space of approximately eight acres which boasts Thedwastre Park, a children’s fenced play area.
Various more challenging play equipment including a cocowave and rotator swing.
Football goals, a basketball hoop multi-use games area (MUGA) and outdoor gym equipment.
Recent additions to the play area include an inclusive roundabout and basket swings. 
Dogs are allowed on the New Green Open Space and should be kept under control or on a lead at all times, and we ask that no dogs are 
brought into the closed children’s play area. Multiple picnic benches create places to gather for social interaction, enjoy picnics and group activities in this shared area.
