Thurston Relief in Need Charity Trustees are delighted the Independent Living Home, Michaelmas Court, Heath Road is now open. Michaelmas Court held an Open Day on 24th June 2025. Several people have now moved into their new properties.

Thurston Relief in Need Charity dates back to 1662 and has been in its present form since 1986. The objectives of the Charity, within its limited funds, are to provide items, services or facilities for persons resident in Thurston who are in need or experiencing hardship.

The Trustees welcome requests of assistance from Thurston residents who find themselves in financial hardship.
